August 26, 2003: Outdoor Indiana Magazine Goes Stochastic
Saint Clair Press set a new standard in print quality for the Indianapolis market with the recent production of the September/October issue of Outdoor Indiana Magazine.
Expectations for quality were high on this demanding 50-page publication, which is chock full of critical crossovers and a wide array of colorful photographs taken by the superb photographers of the Indiana DNR.
As the press sheets rolled off the press, the image and color reproduction were impeccable
and so were the smiling faces looking on. At 20 micron stochastic screening, the butterflies, birds and flowers are literally jumping off the page!
Bindery and Finishing did a great job putting the final touches on this exciting print job.
This is truly an exciting time for us. We are proud that we were able to exceed expectations and capture the full color and beauty of the original photographs taken, states Joe Kellenberger, President of Saint Clair Press.
All images were drum scanned by Saint Clair Press using a Linotype-Hell 3800 Drum Scanner. Files were ripped, trapped and screened using Artworks latest state-of-the-art system, Nexus 7.0. Printing was done on a 6-Color Komori Medallion with in-line aqueous coating. Folding was done on a 26 Stahl Folder, and stitching was done on a McCain 8-pocket Stitcher.
