October 31, 2003: Saint Clair Press “Legends” Program
Our “Legends” program was started in 2001. Associates earn points during the year for accomplishment in the following categories:
- Attendance,
- Continuous Employment,
- Annual Average Performance Appraisal Percentage,
- In House Program Participation,
- Serving on Division Committees,
- Employee Suggestions,
- Education/Training,
- Team Spirit.
Once an associate earns 1000 points they are inducted into the “Legends” program. They receive a special shirt and are eligible to attend the annual dinner in their honor. The next level is 2000 points and the associate is “Knighted” and receives the rank of “Sir”. At the 3000 point level you become a “Knight of the Round Table”. Once this level is achieved, your status is retained and you will be an honored guest at all future Saint Clair Press Legends functions.
Recently, we inducted 3 new members into our Legends program. Todd Blocher, our purchasing agent has earned a total of 1,100 points in 14 years of service. Russell Burk, sales representative, has earned 1,125 points with 15 years of service. And J.B. Waddell, our plant manager has earned 1,350 points in 17 years of service. Scott Maners who is already a member of the Legends program was “knighted” with a total of 2,100 points and 27 years of service. Congratulations to these individuals for a job well done!
As of 2002 we have 13 members of the Legends program with 2 of the members achieving “Sir” status.
