We have the best tools and staff to insure that your job is prepared for printing using the finest technologies and professional skill sets available today. All production servers, Macs and PC’s are networked on fast gigabit networking.
All pre-flight and production is done on G4’s with dual booting systems, (Running OS9.2 and the latest OSX). We also have several production-level PC’s with all the latest software to accommodate customers producing work on PC systems.
Drum scans still have a place in today’s fine quality printing. Our Linotype-Hell 3800 produces the finest quality images possible, and this is evident in your final printed product.
With over 2-1/2 years experience operating highend computer-to-plate equipment, we are fast and efficient. Dual Artworks Nexus workflows provide workhorse ripping and trapping power on the most flexible system available on the market today. Using true “ROOM” technology (Rip Once Output Many), our Nexus Systems directly drive our two Agfa Sherpa 2 Digital Dylux proofers. They will also send files directly to each of the servers that are dedicated to our Agfa Sherpa 43 highend ink jet proofer, and our Creo Trendsetter Spectrum, which produces CTP plates and HDP Proofs (Highend Dot Proofs), on quality Fuji proofing materials.
Our on-line mass storage enables us to provide extremely efficient solutions for customers that have jobs that are exact repeat printing jobs. We have the capacity to store final ripped/trapped files on our Nexus Server. These can be organized and accessed quickly using our Cumulus Server database. And since your exact repeat job does not need to be re-ripped, it is ready to be opened in Preps for imposition and sent to the output device requested.
Our Cumulus Server runs on a Windows 2000 Server, and is accessible to Sales, customer service and production on both Mac and PC platforms. We use this system to create customized databases that help production operate more smoothly and efficiently when working with customers that have complex organizational requirements.
